Australia – AGE sees 20 per cent registration increase

By - 21 July 2017

With less than a month to go, this year’s edition of the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) has already exceed the expectations with visitor registrations up 20 per cent already.

“In addition, the number of confirmed exhibitors is up 30 per cent on last year. We see these two statistics as a big vote of confidence in both the value of the event itself, combined with the interest in the move to the new ICC Sydney, which is more conveniently located at Darling Harbour” said Ross Ferrar, the CEO of the Gaming Technologies Association which is the event organiser.

New machines and games are the biggest attraction at the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) with exhibitors looking forward to the event each year to unveil their latest products, however with almost 250 exhibitors, new gaming technologies are not the only attraction. Visitors come to see the latest in Audio Visual equipment, ATM Equipment, Building Services, Cash Handling & Equipment, Consultancy Services, Entertainment, Financial Services, Food and Beverage, Furniture, I.T., Interior Design & Fitout, Marketing Services, Membership Management, Paging & Communication, Point of Sale Systems, Retail, Security, Signage & Displays and Staff Uniforms. So there’s definitely something for everyone in the gaming and hospitality world.

This year’s event also has over 800 complimentary seminar places available and many of these have been booked, including sessions on venues, research, casinos, technology, cash, investors and a key session where financial commentator Michael Pascoe will moderate a panel of global gaming supply companies’ CEOs.

The exhibition will take place on August 15 to 17 at ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour.
