Cambodia – RGB to replace 900 slots at Donaco’s Star Vegas

By - 30 October 2017

Donaco International has signed a new agreement with RGB, a leading Asian based supplier of casino equipmentand electronic gaming machines, to enhance the slot machine portfolio at the Star Vegas
casino hotel in Poipet, Cambodia.

Currently, Donaco operates 1,522 slot machines at the Star Vegas property. The majority of
these (1,234 machines) are supplied by distributors under revenue share deals, with the
remaining 288 machines owned outright by Donaco.

Under the new agreement, RGB will supply more than 900 new slot machines, worth more
than USD25 million, to replace an equivalent number of old machines. The slot machines to
be supplied will include the latest machines and technology from prominent manufacturers
including Aristocrat, Scientific Games, IGT and Konami.

RGB will also supply a sophisticated new slot machine and casino table game management
system, replacing and upgrading existing systems at the property.

Under the new agreement, there is no upfront cost to Donaco for the supply of the machines.
The new slot machines will be supplied under revenue share deals which are similar to
current arrangements. However, the newer and higher quality slot machines are expected to
generate increased revenue for the slot machine business at Star Vegas. The Company
expects that the enhanced revenue will start to flow from December 2017, with the new slot
machines and systems to be rolled out progressively over the following six months.

Donaco’s Managing Director, Mr Joey Lim, said “We are very pleased to sign a new agreement
with RGB to maintain and enhance our existing relationship. We have identified a significant
opportunity to replace legacy equipment and business arrangements at the Star Vegas with
improved deal terms, as well as the latest gaming technology and machines for our customers.
This latest deal represents another step forward in Donaco putting its management stamp on
the business.”
