Canada – Gateway releases plans for Delta

Canadian operator Gateway Casinos has released images of how its Delta casino would look in Ladner, a small fishing village on the banks of the Fraser River.

The proposed casino/hotel would take up 200,000 sq. ft. and cost $70m, creating 700 new jobs in once it is open.

Gateway has applied to BC Lottery Commission to operate 600 slot machines and 24 gaming tables at the site.

Gateway Casinos Director of Public Relations Tanya Gabara, said: “We’re really eager to engage to the community. We’re ready to commit for the long term.”

The accompanying hotel will have 116 rooms.
