Colombia – Latin American regulators confirm their presence at Ibero-American Gaming Summit

Regulators from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, Paraguay, Spain, Portugal and the host Colombia, plus CIBELAE executives have confirmed their participation in the Fourth Ibero-American Gaming Summit.

The IV Ibero-American Gaming Summit will take place on April 6 in the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. The organisation has confirmed this Thursday the presence of the leading regulators of Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Peru, Puerto Rico, Paraguay and the host Colombia, plus CIBELAE directors.

This extensive political and business representation, which will be completed in the coming weeks, enables operators and manufacturers to strengthen their links with public administrations and improve mechanisms for information exchange between government and business.

During the meeting, which this year has as its official slogan “Towards legal and responsible gaming consolidation in Latin America”, regulators, operators and manufacturers will discuss, among other topics, the commitment they have taken to promote responsible gaming. In addition, they will share experiences and discuss the challenges and prospects which face the sector.

The organisation has already opened the registration process, and presented the various forms of sponsorship available for the event, which last year took place in Mexico City and welcomed more than 300 international attendees.

The four main topics which the meetings agenda will revolve around are: regulation, internationalization, opportunities and innovation. In addition, this year new themes have been suggested and introduced by the Coljuegos management, the leading regulator in Colombia and host .
For the fourth consecutive year, the organization of the Fourth Ibero-American Gaming Summit is being undertaken by JAK Communication and the international consulting firm Kreab. The event has the support of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Colombia, through the Department of Coljuegos, and the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration of Spain, through the General Directorate of Gaming.
