Denmark – Magnet attracted to international expansion

By - 24 October 2016

Magnet Gaming is to expand its international operations after taking a strategic decision on its licencing.

The supplier had previously restricted itself to dot country licences, including its native Danish one, the United Kingdom, and Belgium.

But it has now decided to open that up to other regulated jurisdictions in Europe, triggering the opportunity for further growth.

Head of Game Licensing, Thomas Nielsen, said: “Our games have been in demand in numerous markets for some time now, but we always wanted to make sure that we had very strict standards around licencing.

“That will continue, of course, but we see no reason to not offer them to companies licenced in well-respected open licences like Gibraltar and Malta. Many operators and suppliers are licenced there now and they are very well-regulated.

“We’re very confident our games will have resonance in those markets and others around the world, particularly where sociable casino players are currently under-served by the offering of many operators.”

Magnet is now offering 12 slot titles including Space Gems, Candy Kingdom, and Vikings, in a stable of titles with a proven ability to boost retention rates.

Founded in 2014, the company develops attractive slot machines in HTML5 that are designed to deliver a great gaming experience on multiple devices and operating systems.
