President, Dr. Gian Carlo Ghinamo said: “After you archive a good 2015, these flattering results for the first month of 2016 can be taken as the capitalisation of our efforts, the resources invested and the attention paid to our customers. The casino has experienced a fantastic period with the continuous influx of visitors to our events. We have achieved a good increase in attendance in our theatres and the Roof Garden. The company reaffirmed its strong brand and its ability to create unique moments from a cultural and recreational point of view.”

Director General Giancarlo Prestinoni added: “It was a January to remember for the gradual consolidation of our economic performance in different games. We are changing substantially the entertainment on offer, without losing our identity. Our casino is building a strong presence in the market due to its tradition, new forms of attraction and new loyalty programs. Our table games are the most characteristic offering of our company.

2015 saw a strong focus from the players towards this kind of entertainment, especially French Roulette.

The American games, especially the Mini Punto Banco, are trying to break the impasse of the past months, catching the attention of fans, a process that has yet to make the expected turnaround,” he added. “The Poker Room is still having a strong impact on the market, with a strengthening not only of the revenue but also the participation in tournaments. These are now held weekly with a guaranteed prize pool, a proven formula that is popular with poker players, many from neighbouring France, who are also attracted by the electromechanical game.”

Mr. Prestinoni added: “The continuous renewal of our slot floor and installing machines also dedicated to the Eastern world, have allowed us to find new customers.”
