Mexico – IGT installs Spin Ferno at three Mexican venues

Posted by

IGT is getting slot tournaments in a spin in Mexico with a series of installs of Spin Ferno at Cirsa Mexico properties.

Casino Life del Valle, Casino Life Merida and Emotion Casino Ciudad Juarez have become the first properties in Mexico to install Spin Ferno.

Driven by IGT’s Tournament Manager 5.0 systems solution, Spin Ferno allows operators to host single or multi-site slot tournaments on the company’s S3000 spinning-reel cabinet. Spin Ferno is the gaming industry’s first automated tournament product for a mechanical reel cabinet.

María Aldana, IGT Sales Director Mexico and Strategic accounts, said: “This deployment marks another milestone for the global success of IGT’s Spin Ferno tournament solution. We’ve developed a strong partnership with Cirsa México, and we’re thrilled to bring the Company’s high-energy tournament slot play to its players while introducing it to the Mexican market. Our Spin Ferno tournament solution enables IGT to offer its customers more ways to differentiate their floors and modernize the player experience.”

Julian Lopez, Cirsa Mexico Operations Director, added: “As the first to deploy the Spin Ferno tournament solution in the Mexican market, Casino Life del Valle, Casino Life Merida and Emotion Casino Ciudad Juarez, stand out as premiere gaming destinations. The installation of Spin Ferno allows us to remain on the cutting edge of technology while offering our clients best-in-class gaming entertainment.”

The Cirsa Mexico properties have deployed the Spin Ferno tournament solution on S3000 cabinets. When these slot machines are not utilised for slot tournament play, customers can enjoy S3000 titles such as Hotsy Totsy and Red Hot Lil’ Devil in coin-in, five-cent denomination mode.
