North Marianas – Imperial’s VIP income dips in February

Imperial Pacific, the operator of a headline grabbing temporary casino in Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands, reported a dip in its VIP GGR in February following the record amount reported in previous months.
VIP turnover at its Best Sunshine Live temporary casino came in at $1.67bn in February down from the spectacular $5.6bn in January, a period that included the start of the Chinese New Year.
Imperial Pacific is facing delays to the opening of its permanent casino, has also faced questions over its monthly revenue figures with one gaming analyst recently saying they ‘may be confected to ramp up the market value of Imperial Pacific.’
