Spain – Habanero launches 1920s Gangster slot

By - 31 August 2016

Quality slots and table games provider Habanero has lifted the lid on the seedy underworld of 1920s organised crime with its latest title, Gangsters.

The stunning HTML5 slot takes it cue from notorious prohibition-era mobsters as they tread the boardwalks looking for money, molls, and mischief.

Its five in-game characters offer players cash prizes or free spins when the feature is triggered by a spinning newspaper headlined “Who Did It?”.

Habanero CEO Nic Ioannoy said the game’s popular subject matter and innovative gameplay mechanisms would give it a wide cross-territory appeal.

He added: “Gangsters is the product of more than 18 months of development, and it shows. It is our first game in HTML5 that has all the symbols animating – emphasising the subject matter even more. Playing Gangsters feels like watching one of the classic crime and Mafia movies.”

Gangsters is the latest release from Habanero following the successful launch of a number of blockbuster titles in recent months, including 12 Zodiacs, Roman Empire, and Fa Cai Shen.
It joins their stable of over 60 slots titles, six table games, and 10 video poker titles, which are integrated into over 25 operators and available in 15 languages, including eight European and six Asian ones.
