UK – Aspers shows support for Breast Cancer Awareness

By - 5 October 2015

A Northampton casino is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by ‘Going Pink’ for October, with a range of themed events and offers to raise money for worthy causes.

Aspers Casino’s popular Blackjack tables will transform into Pinkjack to raise awareness of the nationwide month of fundraising, with customers encouraged to donate their winnings to two of the UK’s leading breast cancer charities.

The casino has pledged to donate £1 to charity for every glass or bottle of rosé wine sold in Aspers’ award-winning Clary’s Restaurant in October. To thank customers for supporting the charities, members of the casino’s innovative loyalty scheme, Aspire, will also be able to enjoy a free glass of rosé with every drink purchased in Tanzibar throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“At Aspers, we’re proud to support local and national charities such as the Cynthia Spencer Hospice as part of Strictly Northampton and The Aspinall Foundation, which has been our chosen charity for the past three years,” said David Stratford, General Manager at Aspers Northampton.

“As a cause close to many of our employee’s hearts, it was a no brainer to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. ‘Aspers Goes Pink’ is a great way for our customers and the Aspers team to recognise and raise awareness of the initiative.”
