UK – Grosvenor strengthening its hand in Nottingham

Grosvenor Casino is spending £3.4m renovating its casino in Nottingham with the aim of making it an ‘exceptional’ venue when it reopens in March.

The casino is currently shut while the major refurbishment work takes place. The gaming floor is being reconfigured to keep leisure and gaming separate. The slots area is being upgraded with a VIP machines being created and five new gaming tables being added to the pit. A new sports lounge is being built with a 100in TV screen, VIP seating and large stage whilst a new bar area is being created.

General manager Daren Brain said: “We can’t wait to unveil the fantastic new facilities that will be on offer to Nottingham as a result of this refurbishment. We really are creating a must-see gaming and leisure destination for the people of Nottingham. Not only will this investment allow us to provide an exceptional gaming experience for both new and existing customers, but it will also create important job opportunities for the local community.
