US – 888 to launch shared poker network in Delaware and Nevada

By - 1 September 2014

888 is to launch a shared poker network between Delaware and Nevada, two of the three US states that are currently allowing internet gambling.

The online poker network, which will be called the All America Poker Network (AAPN), comes after the two states signed a first-of-its-kind agreement to allow for shared player liquidity back in February.

“We are aiming to deploy a shared poker network across the two states which will offer poker players in each state an enhanced customer experience,” 888 said. “We remain fully committed to the US market through our B2B business as well as through our interest in the AAPN joint venture. Through our technical, operational and commercial expertise and flexibility we continue to be in an exceptionally strong position as the market regulates. Consistent execution of our stated poker strategy to provide recreational players with a safe and enjoyable poker ecosystem has continued to deliver outperformance.”
