US – Harrah’s Cherokee first in the US to use iDROPe for live tables

Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina has become the first casino in the United States of America to specify the iDROPe for its live table games.

Harrah’s Cherokee is situated at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in western North Carolina and offers a fantastic range of slots and live games.

The iDROPe from APEX gaming is the revolutionary cash handling solution for live tables. The unique range of benefits offered by the iDROPe have been under evaluation for the last nine months at Harrah’s Cherokee and have passed the assessment with flying colours.

Our customers will be able to exchange their ticket or cash directly at the table for chips. They will no longer need to go to the cash desk to do this. Dealers can now accept tickets and/or bills directly at the gaming table and insert them into the iDROPe. This also includes promotional tickets. Up to 50 at a time can be entered – the iDROPe validates and stores each one then individually. Cashing out is simple as the chip value is paid back in the form of a ticket. The intuitive integrated touchscreen makes it simple for the dealer to use the iDROPe. The operator has complete information of each and every ticket and bill entered into the iDROPe.
