US – Paysafe says 2016 revenue will surpass US$1bn

By - 16 January 2017

Online payment company Paysafe Group believes its 2016 revenue will surpass US$1bn topping the upper end of its previous predictions after a strong second half of 2016.

Paysafe upped its guidance to a range of US$970m to US$99m and expects its 2016 EBITDA to hit US$300m and predicts ‘low double-digit organic revenue growth’ for 2017.

Joel Leonoff, Paysafe’s President and CEO said: “We have delivered another excellent financial performance and expect to surpass US$1bn in revenue, an impressive milestone of which we are extremely proud. Our ongoing momentum underpins our confidence in our growth prospects for 2017. We are well prepared for the additional levels of customer due diligence expected as part of forthcoming regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering legislation in Europe. Operating amid regulatory change is simply business as usual for Paysafe,”
